Awantec Clinches Subscription Services Contract From MOE For RM4.9 Million

Awanbiru Technology Bhd (Awantec) has been awarded a contract for learning management system (LMS) license subscription services from Education Ministry (MOE) worth approximately RM4.9 million.

In a Bursa filing today (Dec 27), the group said that the contract is for the LMS license subscription services to meet the requirements of the digital competence improvement course for education service officer (PPP) (‘Perolehan Perkhidmatan Langganan Lesen LMS Bagi Memenuhi Keperluan Kursus Peningkatan Kompetensi Digital Pegawai Perkhidmatan Pendidikan’).

“MOE issued the Letter of Acceptance to Awantec on Dec 21 and the Letter of Acceptance was executed by the group today. A formal contract between both parties is currently being finalised.

“This contract win marks another milestone for Awantec, being its first major win for the provision of a digital learning platform and underscores its commitment to providing innovative technology solutions to the educational sector in Malaysia,” it said.

The contract duration for 36 months (3 years), commencing on 15 January 2024 and expiring on 14 January 2027, it added.

Awantec is Malaysia-based investment holding company, which provides multi-cloud management services, and evolved to be technology and talent services platform innovator.
