Bursa Issues UMA Query On Silver Ridge After It Hits Limit-Down

Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (Bursa Malaysia) has today (Jan 18) issued an UMA query on the sharp fall in the price on Silver Ridge Holdings Bhd.

In its website, Bursa Malaysia announced that Silver Ridge requested to respond immediately for public release, after making due enquiry with your directors, major shareholders and such other relevant persons.

“In this respect, investors are advised to take note of the company’s reply to the above UMA query which will be posted at Bursa Malaysia’s website under the company announcements when making their investment decision.

Earlier, Silver Ridge hit its limit-down at 84 sen in the afternoon trading session, after 32,800 shares were traded.

Telecommunication services provider Silver Ridge joined other small counters that had their shares plunged due to selling pressures.

It was reported today that several smaller counters had hit limit-down over the past week, including Widad Group Bhd, Jentayu Sustainables Bhd, Mercury Securities Bhd and Artroniq Bhd.

Bursa Malaysia had issued two other UMA queries today, to Tanco Holdings Bhd and Widad Group Bhd, according to its website.

Yesterday, it issued similar queries to Artroniq, Mercury Securities and Jentayu Sustainables.
