In 2023, Meraque achieved a major milestone with the launch of its Autonomous Ground Vehicle (AGV), known as RACE. Developed entirely in-house by local talents, RACE has redefined agriculture and plantation management. Equipped with Smart IoT, 3D Lidar, GIS, and other technologies, RACE optimizes operations, leading to substantial savings exceeding MYR5 million in fertiliser costs for clients.

The Emerging SME 2023 award at the Golden Bull Awards attests to Meraque’s commitment to excellence and innovation.

Addressing market hesitancy toward new technology, Meraque successfully conducted proof-of-concept trials, demonstrating the efficiency of RACE compared to traditional methods. Additionally, the establishment of the Meraque Training Academy (MERIT) positions the company to train over 500 talents by the end of 2024 to meet the growing demand for drone services.

In a pivotal move, Meraque Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Youth and Sports Malaysia in November 2023, aiming to empower Malaysian youth with education and skills training in robotics and drone solutions.
