LBS Foundation, the organisation overseeing corporate social responsibility initiatives for LBS Bina Group Berhad, has recently launched a charitable effort by donating RM200,000 to Catholic High School Petaling Jaya (CHSPJ).
This generous donation will be utilised to install an indoor LED display screen in the school hall, enhancing the facilities for students’ activities and contributing to a more conducive learning environment.
Tan Sri Ir. (Dr.) Lim Hock San, a Board of Trustees member of LBS Foundation, formally presented the donation to Dr. Margaret Lim Pei Tee, the School Principal of Catholic High School in Petaling Jaya. This mock-cheque presentation was also witnessed by the Chief Minister of Selangor, Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari. Also present were Ng Sze Han, Selangor State Exco of Investment, Trade, and Mobility, and Rajiv a/l Rishyakaran, Bukit Gasing State Assemblyman.
“We are delighted to witness the school’s gradual enhancement and progress; be it in the realm of education or creation of an enriched learning environment for students. We hope the school will persist in its commendable efforts, nurturing and cultivating even more talents for the betterment of our nation,” said Lim.
LBS Foundation’s donation is part of its ongoing commitment to assist and uplift communities worldwide. “We believe that our donation will create a positive impact, aiding both educators and students in the school,” added Lim.
