Samaiden Receives SEDA FIT Approval For 7MW Biomass Power Plant

Samaiden Group Berhad has gone from providing just solar solutions to one of the big names in renewable energy segment after a series of diversification including in new energy.

The group in its latest announcement has informed that its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary has received the Feed-in Tariff Approval Certificate from the Sustainable Energy Development Authority Malaysia which marks a major step in the group’s RE journey.

With the approval, the subsidiary Samaiden Biomass Energy will construct and operate a Biomass Power Plant with an installed capacity of 7.0 Megawatts and is set to supply a Net Export Capacity of 6.0 MW to Tenaga Nasional Berhad. This agreement spans twenty-one (21) years and is scheduled to commence on 22 January 2027.

The group has identified Johor for the building of the Biomass Power Plant.
