Bursa Lower At Midday On Lack Of Fresh Catalysts

Bursa Malaysia ended Monday’s morning session lower on a lack of fresh catalysts, a dealer said.

At 12.30pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) eased 2.47 points to 1,514.11 from last Friday’s close of 1,516.58.

The barometer index opened 0.67 of-a-point easier at 1,515.91 and subsequently moved between 1,513.27 and 1,520.98 throughout the session.

The market breadth was negative with decliners outpacing gainers 529 to 356, while 411 counters were unchanged, 940 untraded and 11 others suspended, Bernama reported.
