Generali Malaysia Brings Integrated Insurance Experience To Melaka

Generali Malaysia announced the launch of Melaka branch ― a one-stop branch that offers both comprehensive General and Life Insurance solutions all under one roof.

During the ribbon cutting ceremony held on 26th January 2024, Fabrice Benard, Chief Executive Officer of Generali Insurance Malaysia Berhad and Country Head for Generali Entities in Malaysia shared that Melaka is a city filled with vibrant heritage. Over the years, the city has transformed into a thriving business hub with remarkable economic growth.

“We believe our Melaka branch is able to thrive not only as a place that provides one-stop insurance services, but also as a key processing centre, fueling transformation and contributing GDP growth and job opportunities to the locals. It is the lens for how we see our business and relationship with the communities around us, as part of our Lifetime Partner strategy,” Fabrice said.

Generali has reinvented the design of its branch to provide customer focused experiences through phygital advisory and solutions. The multi-functional space carries elements of functionality, inclusiveness and technology, which highlights Generali’s ongoing commitment towards sustainability, innovation and customer centricity.

The new Melaka branch houses a customer service area on the ground floor with several functional private discussion rooms, training rooms and office spaces laid across four floors. Customers and partners are welcome to walk in for over-the-counter services, or engage in conversations privately with their dedicated servicing officer in a collaborative setting.

Fabrice added, “Generali holds a strong vision to be the leading, preferred insurer in Malaysia. We believe insurance is one of the many services that still require the warmth of a human touch. We want to be on ground closer to our people, customers and partners― to connect, protect and foster long-lasting relationships with them.”
