LBS CSR Team Sponsors Construction Of IPD Hall

LBS Foundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of LBS Bina Group Berhad has sponsored the construction of the Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah (IPD) Hall at Petaling Jaya, named Dewan Jaya LBS. The groundbreaking ceremony was held today, officiated by Chief of Police for Selangor, Datuk Hussein Omar Khan.

Dewan Jaya LBS, designed as a versatile venue, will accommodate various activities within the police community, including official functions, training sessions, community events, and recreational activities.

The event also marked the handover ceremony for the new Officer in Charge of the District Police, and the presentation of the ‘Baton of Command’ from outgoing ACP Mohamad Fakhrudin Bin Abdul Hamid to incoming ACP Shahrulnizam Bin Ja’afar @ Ismail.

Furthermore, the assumption of duties by the Chairman of PERKEP IPD Petaling Jaya saw a smooth transition between YBhg. Puan Roshimah Binti Chik and YBhg. Puan Norshahidah Binti Anuwar, witnessed by YBhg. Datin Liliyana Haryanti Binti Dato’ Mohd Hairunizam, the Chairman of PERKEP Selangor.

Meanwhile, LBS Foundation’s Board of Trustees, Tan Sri Ir (Dr) Lim Hock San, during his speech underscored a significant commitment to community development and support for the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM).

Additionally, Lim Hock San emphasised the historical and personal importance of the collaboration between LBS Foundation and PDRM.

He highlighted the evolution of humble donations and charity efforts into vital community-building endeavors, echoing the commitment to continuous contribution for the betterment of society.
