BHIC owned BHIC Submarine Engineering Services Sdn Bhd said it has accepted the Letter of Award dated 14 February 2024 from the Ministry of Defence Malaysia awarding it an extension to the Submarine Facilities Upkeep contract for the Royal Malaysian Navy.
The contract value is estimated to be RM3.5 million and is for a contract period of forty five days from 1 January 2024
until 14 February 2024. A formal contract between the Government of Malaysia and BSES will be finalized and executed at a later date.
The group said the contract will contribute positively to the earnings of the BHIC Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2024.
