Launch Of Gold Wafers To Aid Charity Efforts

Yayasan Prihatin Nasional (PRIHATIN), in partnership with Public Gold Group, has inaugurated the PRIHATIN Gold Bar, marked by a ceremony officiated by the Crown Princess of Perlis, HRH Tengku Sharifah Khatreena Nuraniah Binti DYTM Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Jamalullail, held at Menara Public Gold.

The Gold Wafers, known as ‘Prihatin Duo Hearts’, boasting a purity of up to 999.9, signify a joint effort by PRIHATIN and PUBLIC GOLD to raise funds for the PRIHATIN Charity Fund.

These funds will be directed towards expanding educational assistance for outstanding students, providing healthcare aid for the underprivileged, and extending disaster relief assistance.

PRIHATIN’s dedication to proactive welfare programs, particularly in elevating Malaysia’s education sector globally, remains steadfast. In 2024 alone, PRIHATIN has assisted over 8,000 financially challenged students, emphasizing inclusivity and support across various fields, including education and disaster relief.

Yayasan Prihatin Nasional, CEO, Datuk Aizuddin Ghazali, CEO of Yayasan Prihatin Nasional, lauded the strategic collaboration with Public Gold Group, citing the production of gold wafers as a prudent step towards long-term investment.

The ‘PRIHATIN Duo Hearts’ design, symbolising purity and sincerity, is expected to resonate with avid gold collectors due to its unique charitable aspect.

Public Gold, Founder and Executive Chairman, Datuk Wira Louis emphasised the collaborative effort’s significance in promoting gold savings among the youth.

With a target of raising RM200,000.00 for the PRIHATIN Charity Fund through the sales of ‘PRIHATIN Duo Hearts’ gold wafers, Public Gold aims to make a meaningful impact on individuals in need, especially students.

In addition to the launch event, PRIHATIN also organised a grand Iftar event at the Federal Territory level, celebrating orphans, tahfiz children, single mothers, needy individuals, and students from Higher Education Institutions (IPT) in collaboration with Non-Governmental Organisations.
