Trip.com Teams Up With Local Airlines For Offline Campaign

Trip.com has joined forces with Malaysia Airlines and its low-cost subsidiary, Firefly Airlines, to introduce a special offline campaign for passengers at three major Malaysian airports.

Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport (Subang Airport), Penang International Airport, and Kota Kinabalu International Airport have been selected as the venues for this unique initiative.

Passengers of either Malaysia Airlines or Firefly Airlines will receive physical vouchers upon checking in at these airports, entitling them to exclusive promotional codes valued at over RM100 in total.

Running from now until April 14, 2024, or until the vouchers are exhausted, the campaign aims to enhance the travel experience for passengers within the airlines’ domestic network.

The promotional codes offer various discounts, including RM40 off flight bookings (with a minimum spend of RM300), RM20 off hotel bookings (with a minimum spend of RM250), RM45 off tours and tickets bookings (with a minimum spend of RM400), as well as discounts on airport transfers and car rentals.

Trip.com, Senior Marketing Director for Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia, Edmund Ong expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, saying, “As a technology-driven company, Trip.com has primarily focused on engaging users online. We are thrilled to partner with Malaysia Airlines and Firefly Airlines to extend our reach to new users while adding value to their passengers.

We are eager to assist more travelers in planning their next trip after they check in for their upcoming flights.”
