Selangor Records RM39 Billion In DDI, Almost 70% Of Total Investment

The Selangor state recorded a total of RM39 billion in domestic direct investment (DDI) last year, comprising almost 70 percent of the total investment value of RM55.3 billion recorded during the same period.

The ratio of DDI is large compared to foreign direct investment indicating the State of having a strong business ecosystem and is suitable for investment to grow. Earlier this month, the Malaysian Investment Development Board (Mida) announced Selangor’s recorded investment of RM55.3 billion last year, exceeding the RM45 billion target set.
