Dyson’s Airstrait™ Straightener: Wet-to-Dry Styling Without Heat Damage

Dyson recently introduced the Dyson Airstrait™ straightener, priced at RM2,599, to revolutionise hair styling with its innovative wet-to-dry technology.

Engineered to deliver sleek, straight hair without the use of hot plates, the Airstrait™ straightener is designed to maintain hair strength and health.

Utilising powerful airflow and precision air jets, the straightener dries and styles hair simultaneously, offering users a natural straight look with volume and movement.

Dyson, Founder and Chief Engineer, James Dyson highlighted the significance of airflow manipulation in achieving optimal performance. The Airstrait™ straightener features two high-velocity downward blades of air, projecting at a 45° angle to create a controlled force that straightens hair as it dries. This directional airflow helps align hair strands for a smooth and shiny finish, while minimising heat damage.

Powered by the Dyson Hyperdymium™ motor, the straightener generates up to 11.9 litres of air per second, ensuring efficient drying and styling.

Intelligent heat control technology prevents heat damage by regulating airflow temperature, while glass bead thermistors monitor temperature changes up to 16 times per second.

The Airstrait™ straightener offers two styling modes, ‘Wet’ and ‘Dry,’ with customisable heat settings to suit individual preferences.
