TMC Life Issues Second Show Cause Letter To Suspended GCEO

TMC Life which has suspended its Group Chief Executive Officer of Thomson Hospital has announced that a second show cause letter dated 29 March 2024 was issued to Puan Wan Nadiah Binti Wan Mohd Abdullah Yaakob that contains allegations that are different from the first show cause letter that was issued on 29 January 2024.

The group said the Audit and Risk Management Committee had carefully reviewed the written replies from Puan Nadiah to the First Show Cause Letter, whereby ARMC had found and concluded that the written replies were generally insufficient to answer the allegations stated in the First Show Cause Letter. The ARMC had reported its findings and conclusion to the Board.

Depending on the findings and conclusion from the ARMC to Puan Nadiah’s response to the allegations stated in the Second Show Cause Letter, the TCM Board said it will proceed with the next phase of the disciplinary process against her for the allegations made in the First Show Cause Letter and, if applicable, the Second Show Cause Letter.
