The Central Bank released its international reserves status as of 29 March which amounted to USD113.8 billion as at 29 March 2024 edging up slightly from US$113.4 reported on March 22.
Bank Negara said the reserves level has taken into account the quarterly foreign exchange revaluation changes. The reserves position is sufficient to finance 5.6 months of imports of goods and services and is 1.0 times of the total short-term external debt.
