The much-anticipated debut of the JAECOO J7 premium SUV has finally arrived, as the company officially opens registrations starting April 10, 2024.
Enthusiasts of the off-road luxury vehicle can secure their interest at the JAECOO Premier Experience roadshow, situated at 1Utama Shopping Centre (Level LG, Highstreet), or through the official JAECOO Malaysia website.
JAECOO Malaysia, President, Leo Chen expressed his delight at the overwhelming interest in the J7, following successful roadshows.
“The public’s consistent interest and anticipation for the J7 have been very encouraging,” Chen said.
“We believe JAECOO Malaysia is introducing diversity to the SUV market, especially with the J7 poised as a formidable contender in the C-segment SUV arena, highly appreciated by consumers in Malaysia,” he added.
With a commitment to delivering advanced technology in a premium package at a competitive price point, JAECOO Malaysia has teased a price tag for the J7 estimated to be below RM200,000.
The inaugural model will be available in two variants: the JAECOO J7 All-Wheel Drive (AWD) priced at an estimated RM160,000, and the JAECOO J7 Two-wheel Drive (2WD) at an estimated RM150,000.
Customers will have the option to choose from four vibrant colors, including Moonlight Silver, Carbon Crystal Black, Khaki White, and Model Green.
Anticipating a high demand, JAECOO Malaysia plans to commence delivery of orders in the third quarter of the year. Prospective customers can also look forward to test driving the J7 in May.
