PropertyGuru Appoints Kenneth Soh As Country Manager For Malaysia

PropertyGuru Group Limited (NYSE: PGRU), the leading property technology company in Southeast Asia, has announced the appointment of Kenneth Soh as the new Country Manager for Malaysia. In his role, Soh will oversee the growth strategy for PropertyGuru.com.my and iProperty.com.my, while also managing the commercial operations of both marketplaces.

Bringing extensive experience in commercial and operations leadership, Soh joins PropertyGuru from Shopee Malaysia, where he served as the Director of Marketing, Growth, and Communications. His tenure at Shopee saw him driving significant commercial growth and playing a crucial role in enhancing user engagement and loyalty. Prior to this, Soh held positions at McKinsey & Company and Schlumberger in Malaysia.

As Country Manager, Soh will lead a team of nearly 400 professionals and will be responsible for mentoring the cross-functional Malaysia Leadership Team. He succeeds Sheldon Fernandez, who has served as the Country Manager for the past nine years and will be transitioning from the Group on April 30.

Marketplaces at PropertyGuru Group, Managing Director, Jeremy Williams, expressed gratitude to Fernandez for his leadership and welcomed Soh to the team.
