Comfort Glove reports of fire taking place at one of the few compounding areas in one of the subsidiary companies, Comfort Rubber Gloves Industries Sdn Bhd’s factory at Taiping, Perak.
The group said the cause of the fire and actual extent of the damage are currently still unknown, pending the completion of the police investigations into the fire and issuance of their report.
However it did note that no death or casualty, and that the production line is not affected. Preliminary assessment it said reveals that the fire incident would not have a material impact to the financial and operations of the Group.
The Group said it will render their full assistance to the investigation and the Board of Directors will monitor the situation closely.
