Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel & Convention Centre, in partnership with Skål International Kuala Lumpur, has demonstrated their commitment to societal welfare through a generous donation totaling RM20,000. The donation has been extended to two non-profit organisations, United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) Malaysia and Pusat Jagaan Kasih Murni.
In a ceremony hosted at the hotel, representatives from both organisations receivedRM10,000 each, acknowledging the support provided by Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel & Convention Centre and Skål International Kuala Lumpur.
The contribution, presented by Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel & Convention Centre and Four Points by Sheraton Kuala Lumpur, City Centre, Complex General Manager, Bipan Kapur, alongside Skål International Kuala Lumpur, IP President & Presidential Advisor, Bill Haswell of stemmed from the proceeds of the Christmas Charity Auction & Dinner, an annual event organised by Skål International Kuala Lumpur. Last year, the hotel had the honor of serving as the venue sponsor, playing a pivotal role in the event’s success.
Bipan Kapur said, “The act of giving back to the community further echoes the values of Marriott International, and we are honored to have supported the event and joined hands with Skål to serve the purpose.
We’re certain that the funds allocated to UNICEF Malaysia and Pusat Jagaan Kasih Murni will undoubtedly support their noble missions and aid those in need.”
