AGX Group Berhad announced that it is proposing a final tax exempt (single-tier) dividend of 0.45 sen per ordinary share amounting to RM1.95 million in respect of the financial year ended 31 December 2023.
This represents the first dividend of which has been proposed by the Company post listing earlier this year and assuming that the final dividend be approved and paid, the Company would have paid out a total of approximately RM4.95 million in dividends for the respective financial year representing a dividend payout of approximately 50% of FY23’s unaudited profit after tax. The company has a dividend policy of at least 30% of annual profits.
It said the dividend announced will be subject to the approval of its shareholders at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting of the company to be convened.
