Food delivery firm, Grab Malaysia is offering the national contingent competing at the 2024 Paris Olympics & Paralympics up to 1 million rewards points and a year’s worth of free food if they win any medals, in addition the firmis also giving every local athlete participating an additional 50,000 reward points.
Commenting on the announcement, Adelene Foo, Managing Director of Grab Malaysia, said, “We at Grab Malaysia, are incredibly honoured to stand behind our Malaysian athletes as they give their all at the Paris Olympics and Paralympics. Their dedication and resilience inspire us and we hope this token motivates them even further to make our nation proud. To our athletes, your journey truly embodies the Malaysian spirit and know that we will be supporting and cheering you on, every step of the way!”.
Youth & Sports Minister YB Hannah Yeoh expressed her appreciation with this latest incentive. She said “I would like to thank Grab who came forward to support our athletes with this incentive. This shows that the private sector believes in our athletes and are confident that they are capable of bringing home the first gold for Malaysia.”
The group has also offered one year’s worth of free food orders (offer has a limit value per year) to the country’s gold medalist at the Paris Olympics & Paralympics. Besides this, each of these gold medalists will also be rewarded with 1 million reward points respectively.
The silver medalists, meanwhile, are set to receive one year’s worth of free food orders, in addition to 500,000 reward points.
The bronze medalists will receive one year’s worth of free food orders and 250,000 reward points.
Coaches are also included with an RM100 GrabFood voucher each to all the 110 coaches and officials involved in the Paris Olympics and Paralympics.
