KL Metro Group has marked the start of construction for its latest luxury venture, Lexis Hibiscus 2, with a grand groundbreaking ceremony. Positioned next to the renowned Lexis Hibiscus resort, this new project aims to elevate Malaysia’s luxury hospitality sector, promising to set new standards in both design and luxury.
Covering a sprawling 80 acres, Lexis Hibiscus 2 boasts a Gross Development Value (GDV) of RM1.6 billion. The development will feature 1,710 high-end units, including 910 water homes and 800 sky pool suites across two towering blocks. The resort’s design mirrors Malaysia’s national flower, the Hibiscus, and each unit will offer a private pool, ensuring guests enjoy unparalleled comfort and tranquillity.
Scheduled for completion by mid-2029, Lexis Hibiscus 2 represents a strategic collaboration between KL Metro Group and Menteri Besar Incorporated, the investment arm of the Negeri Sembilan State Government. This partnership builds on the success of the original Lexis Hibiscus, promising to further enhance Port Dickson’s appeal as a leading destination for luxury and business tourism.
The groundbreaking event was honoured by YAB Dato’ Seri Utama Haji Aminuddin, Chief Minister of Negeri Sembilan, alongside prominent figures such as Dato’ Haji Mat Hassan Esa, Chairman of KL Metro Group, and Dato’ Low Tak Fatt, Managing Director of KL Metro Group.
The new resort is poised to attract 1.1 million tourists annually, including a significant number from overseas. This influx is expected to create around 5,000 jobs throughout the development and operational phases, providing a considerable boost to the local economy.
Dato’ Low Tak Fatt commented, “Lexis Hibiscus 2 is a testament to our commitment to delivering exceptional experiences. This project embodies our vision to push the boundaries of luxury and hospitality.”
Lexis Hibiscus 2 will offer a range of superior facilities including a water fountain, aquarium, multiple swimming pools, a kids centre, and a diverse selection of dining options. The resort will also feature an executive lounge, various event venues, a helipad, and the iconic Hibiscus Walk.
Units are currently available for purchase under a leaseback arrangement, offering a 6% annual rental return and 10 complimentary nights per year at the resort. Prices range from RM720,000 to RM950,000, inclusive of all furnishings. Since the soft launch of Phase 1 in June 2024, approximately 60% of the units have been sold, with strong interest from international buyers, particularly from the Asia Pacific region.
Interested parties can view show units at L12 Pavilion Tower, Kuala Lumpur, or at the Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson. For sales enquiries, contact via WhatsApp at +6010 968 7768.
