Global Recognition for Supplycart’s ADAM Platform at Chief Procurement Officers Summit

At the recent 7th Annual Chief Procurement Officers Summit & Awards, Supplycart solidified its position as a leader in the procurement industry with its flagship e-procurement and vendor management platform, ADAM, receiving critical acclaim and multiple awards.

The summit, a gathering of procurement professionals from around the region, recognised Supplycart with the ‘Supplier Collaboration Award’ for its outstanding contributions to the industry together with their clients.

The accolade was partly due to its successful collaboration with L’Oreal MYSG, which also garnered the ‘Procurement Collaboration Award’ due to the efficiencies driven by the ADAM platform.

Supplycart CEO Jonathan Oh said that the recognition brings to life the company’s commitment to transforming procurement.

“ADAM is designed to integrate seamlessly with any existing infrastructure, proving its flexibility and efficiency across various industries,” he said.

Supplycart’s participation in the summit also included a ‘fireside chat’ of their case study on how ADAM has been effectively integrated into systems like SAP B1, Microsoft GP and more to name a few, showcasing its flexibility, adaptability and importance to businesses of all sizes. This demonstration was particularly significant as it illustrated the platform’s role in enhancing procurement processes and its readiness for the upcoming e-invoicing mandate called ‘MyInvois’ in Malaysia.

Also present and contributing at the fireside chat with Jonathan were L’Oreal MYSG Head of Purchasing Khaw Mel Han and E&P O&M Services Head of Supply Chain Management Ikhwan Sunoto.

The trio provided significant insights about navigating modern procurement challenges, real-world procurement process transformations and on the future of procurement systems.

During the discussion, Jonathan highlighted the strategic benefits of ADAM’s integration capabilities: “Our ADAM platform serves to enhance procurement management with flexibility and smart integration that drives operational excellence across the stakeholder ecosystem.”

“Working with international brands like L’Oreal is evidence of how ADAM is able to meet the demands of global supply chains, ensuring that our technology is both robust and versatile in adapting to various business environments.”

Mel Han also shared tangible benefits experienced by his team on how the implementation of ADAM has revolutionised L’Oreal’s tail spend and top of line procurement operation that previously diluted time and energy.

“Supplycart’s ADAM platform has unearthed opportunities in the ‘true addressable spend’ where our internal procurement colleagues can unlock savings and efficiencies, saving us valuable time and resources while while maintaining compliance and controls with global standards,” he said.

Meanwhile, Ikhwan of E&P O&M Services (pic) described the future of procurement technologies as being about connectivity and seamless data flow.

“ADAM’s ability to integrate with existing legacy enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and latest technologies alike makes it a cornerstone for future developments in procurement,” said Ikhwan. “Such advancements are crucial as they lay the groundwork for more sophisticated, AI-driven procurement solutions that are on the horizon.”

Indeed, ADAM is a solution that has been recognised worldwide.

Supplycart’s technological edge and its impact on the procurement sector were further reaffirmed by accolades from the Financial Times, which named Supplycart among the Top 500 High-Growth Companies Asia-Pacific for the third consecutive year. These acknowledgments underscore the platform’s robustness and the team’s dedication to innovation.

“As Supplycart gears up for further growth expansion, particularly in the Australian-New Zealand and Southeast Asian regions, such recognition serves as a crucial stepping stone,” said Jonathan. “We aim to leverage our successes and international achievements to further establish credibility and secure new partnerships to benefit the entire Supplycart ecosystem.”

Jonathan also shared that Supplycart is actively seeking collaborations that align with its vision of streamlining procurement and vendor management processes on regional and global levels.

“Our successes thus far were attained through sheer innovation, coupled with our passion in solving procurement challenges, validate our capabilities and enhance our appeal to prospective partners who are eager to advance enterprise solutions,” he added.

“This strategic approach aims to not only introduce ADAM to new markets but also to nurture an ecosystem where innovation in procurement can thrive, supported by robust partnerships and collaborative successes throughout the procurement community and vendor ecosystem.”

Looking ahead, Supplycart is set to continue championing procurement transformation with ADAM at the forefront, bringing enhanced operational efficiencies and strategic procurement solutions that are globally competitive.
