Reservoir Link Signs MOU With Ad Terra To Explore CCUS

Reservoir Link Energy Bhd (Reservoir Link), an energy related services provider, announced that its 60% owned subsidiary Reservoir Link Solutions Sdn Bhd has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Ad Terra Asia Sdn Bhd to explore collaboration opportunities within the carbon capture, utilisation, and storage (CCUS) solutions in Malaysia, according to a press statement released today.

Under the terms of the MOU, both parties intend to work together to jointly participate and execute projects, leveraging their respective expertise, allowing Reservoir Link to offer CCUS technologies and subsurface, geology and geophysical studies to its customers within Malaysia. This collaboration underscores both parties’ shared commitment to create solutions that meet the increasing demand for carbon capture in the energy industry.

The MOU will be valid for six months, with an option to extend for an additional 6 months.  

Ad Terra Asia Sdn Bhd is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ad Terra Consultancy that provides advisory and technical support to the energy sector internationally since 2010. Its expertise includes carbon capture and storage, carbon monitoring and management, renewables (geothermal, solar and wind) and sustainable water solutions.

Reservoir Link is an investment holding company where its subsidiaries are primarily involved in the provision of oil and gas well related services, which include well perforation, leak repair, testing, wash and cement as well as wireline. Reservoir Link is also involved in providing improved oil recovery services, laboratory studies and expert interpretative services on flow assurance and formation damage and provision of sand management solutions.

More recently, Reservoir Link added to its list of services the provision and implementation of solar photovoltaic projects for residential and commercial properties, as well as large scale solar photovoltaic plants which include the supply and installation of solar mounting systems.
