Bursa Malaysia today was engulfed by negative market sentiment as the benchmark index dived.
The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI), dropped 17.08 points, or 1.03%, closing at 1,639.31, down from Tuesday’s close of 1,642.78. After opening, the index fluctuated between 1,647.30 and 1,633.08 during the trading session.
Nestle (Malaysia) Berhad (NESTLE) was the top gainer, up by 0.9% to close at RM105.5.
Allianz Malaysia Berhad (ALLIANZ) recorded the biggest percentage loss for the day, as much as 0.4%, to close at RM20.20.
