Resorts World Cruises Returns To Keelung With Expanded 2025 Schedule

Resorts World Cruises will return to homeport in Keelung, Taiwan, from Apr 30 to Nov 9 2025, doubling its 2024 capacity with the 1,800-passenger ship, Resorts World One. The cruise line is introducing new and popular itineraries, including 3, 4, and 6-day cruises to Okinawa, as well as destinations in Kyushu, Honshu, and Shikoku, Japan.

A significant addition to the 2025 schedule is the Resorts World One’s first 6-day Osaka-Wakayama-Kochi Cruise, featuring 15 sailings coinciding with the World Expo 2025 in Osaka. The Expo, themed “Designing Future Society for Our Lives”, is expected to attract 28 million visitors. Guests on these cruises will have access to shore excursions with pre-arranged tickets to the massive Expo site, offering an excellent opportunity for Expo fans to explore Japan.

During the peak holiday season in July and August, all Resorts World One cruises will be to Osaka and Kochi, allowing families to visit the Expo and explore Japan’s diverse attractions. Highlights include excursions to Kyoto, Wakayama’s UNESCO World Heritage site of Koyasan, Wakayama Castle, and onsen (hot springs). In Kochi, passengers can discover the Shimanto River Valley, Kochi Castle, and sample local delicacies like Katsuo no Tataki (seared bonito fish).

In addition to these, Resorts World Cruises will reintroduce popular itineraries from Keelung to Okinawa and Kyushu, offering eight 6-day sailings, as well as shorter 3-day Okinawa cruises, providing more options for international travellers. These new itineraries are expected to attract inbound fly-cruise passengers from across Asia.

“We are committed to further developing the Fly-Cruise segment from across Asia,” said Mr. Michael Goh, President of Resorts World Cruises. He highlighted the positive impact these deployments have had on the local economy, contributing to job creation, local services, and increased demand for transportation and accommodation.

Resorts World Cruises will also offer an enhanced luxury experience with its Balcony Class, providing guests priority check-ins, exclusive onboard privileges, and amenities for a more comfortable and premium cruise experience.
