The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission has confirmed that FashionValet founders will face Criminal Breach of Trust charges for misappropriation.
This comes after MACC opened up a case against the founders Datin Vivy Yusof and Datuk Fadzaruddin Shah Anuar upon financial statements shared by the country’s investment arm Khazanah.
The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) had frozen several personal and company bank accounts, valued at around RM1.1 million, belonging to the husband-and-wife founders of the FashionValet e-commerce platform.
The freeze was part of an investigation by MACC into the couple regarding investment losses amounting to RM43.9 million by Khazanah Nasional Bhd and Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB).
MACC Chief confirmed to a local media that both of them will be charged tomorrow.
