HDC Partners With Pasar Venture To Advance Halal Industry Innovation

The Halal Development Corporation Bhd (HDC) has signed an Engagement Agreement with Pasar Venture Sdn Bhd, a fintech-enabled supply chain management platform, marking a significant milestone in Malaysia’s Halal industry.

The agreement, formalised by HDC CEO Hairol Ariffein Sahari and Pasar Venture CEO Ra Wha Hyun, was witnessed by HDC Chairman Khairul Azwan Harun and Pasar Venture Executive Director Datin Lim Ai Ling.

As part of the partnership, Pasar.ai will be integrated into HDC’s Halal Integrated Platform (HIP), creating critical connections between stakeholders, manufacturers, and certified Halal operators in Malaysia. This integration aims to enhance operational efficiency and expand market access for Halal products and services.

Chairman Khairul Azwan Harun stated, “Aligning with Strategic Thrust 2 of the Halal Industry Master Plan 2030, this collaboration creates new market opportunities for Malaysia’s Halal products and services. By integrating Pasar.ai into the HIP, we are not only improving operational efficiency but also expanding market access for Malaysia’s Halal offerings.”

The partnership will leverage Pasar.ai’s advanced tools, including POS, RMS, CRM, and HRM systems, to provide data-driven insights and optimise operations for restaurant operators and Halal ingredient suppliers.

For HDC, the collaboration underscores its commitment to fostering a robust Halal ecosystem and delivering innovative, regulatory-compliant solutions.
