Advancecon Holdings Bhd has appointed Alicia Chin Mei Yoke as the group’s new Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately.
She is succeeding the group’s former Chief Financial Officer Tan Chee Keong, who has resigned to pursue other professional interests.
“With over 25 years of financial leadership experience, primarily within the global oil and gas sector, Chin brings a wealth of expertise in financial management, strategic planning and transformation leadership.
“Her career spans prominent roles across Asia Pacific with major multinationals including General Electric and Baker Hughes, where she most recently served as Assistant Controller and Transformation Leader within Baker Hughes’ Global Finance Organisation. Throughout her tenure with Baker Hughes and GE Oil & Gas, Chin led complex financial planning and cash flow management for businesses exceeding US$1 billion in revenue, while building strong, high-performing finance teams across the region,” Advancecon said.
The group added that Chin’s expertise will be invaluable in managing asset allocation and utilisation to support the group’s long-term growth strategy.
While extending his sincere appreciation to Tan for his valuable contributions and service to the group, Advancecon Group Chief Executive Officer Datuk Phum Ang Kia is delighted to welcome Chin to the management team.
“Her proven track record in global financial leadership, coupled with her passion for building empowered teams, is a strong fit for our group as we accelerate our growth plans.
“Chin’s experience in leading financial transformations and driving data-driven strategies will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our operational resilience, unlock efficiencies, and create long-term value for our stakeholders,” Phum said.
On the other hand, Chin said she looks forward to be working closely with the leadership team to enhance financial discipline, strengthen governance, and support sustainable growth to chart the next phase of transformation together.
