HealthMetrics has officially launched its operations in Indonesia following the rebranding of Across Asia Assist Indonesia (AAA), strengthening Malaysia’s position as a regional hub for cross-border digital healthcare administration.
The rebranded entity, now known as HealthMetrics Indonesia, combines over a decade of local third-party administration expertise with HealthMetrics’ advanced digital infrastructure. The move is expected to deliver faster and more efficient healthcare administration for insurers, corporates, and healthcare providers across Southeast Asia.
Alongside the launch, HealthMetrics introduced three flagship digital solutions: the ISO27001-certified Cloud Platform, the Global Member App, and the International Assistance Hub. These tools aim to simplify patient journeys, streamline healthcare claims, and connect members to over 15,000 direct billing healthcare providers across the region.
With more than 7,000 providers in Malaysia already on board, the expansion enhances inbound patient access to Malaysian healthcare services. Members can now search for panel providers, request guarantee letters, manage claims, and receive post-care support through a single unified platform.
HealthMetrics Group CEO Alvin Yuan described the expansion as a “proud moment” for the Malaysian-born company, adding that the unified digital ecosystem will allow Malaysian providers to serve international patients more effectively. The move also aligns with HealthMetrics’ goal to create a connected, borderless healthcare future.
The announcement was made during HealthMetrics Spotlight 2025, held in Jakarta, where over 100 industry leaders gathered to discuss the future of healthcare administration. The event was supported by KPJ Healthcare Berhad, underscoring the importance of Malaysia-Indonesia collaboration in driving cross-border healthcare access.
Since its founding in 2015, HealthMetrics has grown rapidly and now serves more than 100 insurers, 3,000 corporate clients, and connects care through 15,000 healthcare providers across Southeast Asia. The company is projected to surpass US$1 billion in cumulative medical treatments by the end of 2025.
