Generali Malaysia has officially opened its new headquarters, Menara Generali, located on Jalan Sultan Ismail in Kuala Lumpur. The move consolidates the company’s general and life insurance operations under one roof, aiming to improve operational efficiency and foster greater collaboration. Over 1,000 employees from four different locations have been relocated to the new headquarters, serving more than 9,000 agents and partners as well as 2 million customers nationwide.
The grand opening event was attended by prominent figures, including Liew Chin Tong, Deputy Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry of Malaysia, and Hon. Valentino Valentini, Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy. The occasion marks a significant moment in Generali Malaysia’s journey and its ongoing growth in the region.
Roberto Leonardi, Regional Officer for Asia at Generali, highlighted that Menara Generali is a testament to the company’s decade-long journey in Malaysia. He emphasised Malaysia’s key role in Generali’s future and the importance of innovation, sustainability, and collaboration in the company’s operations.
Fabrice Benard, CEO of Generali Insurance Malaysia Bhd, expressed that the new headquarters embodies the company’s ambition to grow stronger and serve its customers better, solidifying its position as a “Lifetime Partner.”
The headquarters is also undergoing certification to achieve recognised green building status. Designed with sustainability in mind, Menara Generali incorporates energy-efficient systems and green spaces, reflecting Generali’s broader sustainability goals. This aligns with the company’s global strategy to create long-term value for customers, communities, and the environment.
