Jentayu Withdraws Legal Action After FELDA Revokes Contract Termination Notice

Jentayu Sustainables Bhd (JSB) has withdrawn its legal proceedings against the Federal Land Development Authority (FELDA) after the latter revoked its earlier notice terminating an agreement between the two parties.

The renewable energy and infrastructure group said it received a letter from FELDA on July 2, 2026, confirming that the statutory agency had withdrawn its Notice of Termination dated Feb 26, 2026.

Following the withdrawal, JSB filed a Notice of Discontinuance with the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court on July 16, 2026, effectively discontinuing its originating summons against FELDA.

The company said the legal action was discontinued without any admission of liability by FELDA and without any order as to costs, meaning each party will bear its own legal expenses.

The company had previously updated shareholders on the litigation through a series of Bursa Malaysia announcements issued between May and July 2026.
