AirAsia Malaysia has temporarily suspended flights to and from Amritsar, India, from 7 to 9 May 2025 following the closure of Amritsar Airport (ATQ).
The airline said it is closely monitoring the situation, which is developing in the airspace between Pakistan and India. All guests affected by the temporary flight suspension have been notified. Guests who are travelling to/from Amritsar have been encouraged to check their registered email and mobile phones for suspension notifications.
Guests with cancelled flight bookings to/from Amritsar from 7 to 9 May 2025 can seek for full refund or change their flight for free.
Airlines across the globe are avoiding the airspace near Kashmir for fear of a full-blown war between these two nuclear powers which has been simmering in the last few days.
