AirAsia and Tourism Western Australia have launched a strategic partnership to strengthen travel ties between Malaysia and Perth, aiming to reignite demand for one of AirAsia’s most popular Australian routes.
As part of the collaboration, AirAsia is giving away RM400,000 worth of flight discounts for Kuala Lumpur-Perth routes, with each promo code valued at RM200. Travellers can redeem the offer by using the code “AAPERTWA” during the booking period from May 14 to July 31, 2025, for travel until Dec 31, 2025, on a first-come, first-served basis.
The campaign aligns with Western Australia’s global tourism brand, Walking On A Dream, designed to showcase the state’s otherworldly natural landscapes and rich cultural offerings.
“Perth has always been a favourite among Malaysians. We’re thrilled to team up with TWA to make it even more accessible and rewarding to visit,” AirAsia Malaysia Chief Executive Officer Datuk Captain Fareh Mazputra said.
He added that this partnership marks a renewed commitment to making international travel more affordable while elevating Perth as a must-visit destination for nature lovers, culture seekers and city explorers alike.
Since launching its Perth route in 2007, AirAsia has flown millions of passengers to the city. The airline group currently operates 22 weekly flights from Kuala Lumpur to four Australian destinations, with new services to Darwin and Adelaide launching in June through its Malaysia and Indonesia-based carriers.
