Temporary Delays For KTM Komuter Services From May 24 Due to Signal Upgrade Works

KTM Komuter services in the Klang Valley will face temporary schedule changes for three days starting May 24 to accommodate signal system upgrade works between Kepong and Salak Selatan stations, Keretapi Tanah Melayu Bhd (KTMB) announced on May 22.

The affected routes include Pulau Sebang-Batu Caves-Pulau Sebang and Tanjung Malim-KL Sentral-Tanjung Malim

KTMB said commuters can expect delays of up to 50 minutes, while ETS services EG9425 (Padang Besar-Segamat) and EG9321 (Butterworth-Segamat) will experience platform changes at KL Sentral and Kuala Lumpur stations on May 24.

“Station staff will assist passengers during this period. We advise all commuters to plan ahead and check real-time schedules via the MyRailtime feature on the KTMB Mobile app,” the company said in a statement.

The signal upgrades are part of ongoing efforts to improve operational efficiency and safety across KTMB’s network.
