New Coworking Space Opens In TRX

Malaysia’s coworking sector gained another high-profile addition with the launch of INFINITY8 Reserve TRX at Exchange 106, Tun Razak Exchange. The 30,000 sq ft hospitality-focused hub, already near full occupancy within three months, marks the company’s eighth year of operations and reflects the rapid growth of flexible workspace demand in the country.

The new facility houses multinational corporations alongside smaller tenants and features a mix of private offices, premium meeting rooms and communal areas, all aimed at supporting hybrid work. Notable spaces include the 25-seat Mastermind Mansion for large group discussions, the Trillion Dollar Idea Room for mid-sized meetings, and The Carat Club, an intimate four-seat venue designed for high-impact conversations.

INFINITY8’s chief executive and co-founder, Lee Sheah Liang, said the TRX branch embodies the company’s belief in creating workplaces that offer the attentiveness and ambience of top-tier hospitality. The hub incorporates curated art, photography and living greenery, with interiors designed in partnership with local creatives.

The launch comes amid strong industry momentum. The global coworking market, valued at US$22.01 billion in 2024, is projected to more than triple over the next decade. In Malaysia, INFINITY8 has grown from a single 1,400 sq ft site in Johor Bahru to one of the nation’s largest flexible workspace providers, adding over 107,000 sq ft in the past year alone.

The TRX opening coincides with INFINITY8’s month-long celebration of International Coworking Day, featuring networking events, wellness sessions and brand pop-ups. The company plans to open another Reserve-branded site at Sunway Square, Sunway City, in Q4 2025, with a focus on sustainable growth and long-term business enablement.

With locations now in Johor, Penang, Kuala Lumpur and TRX, INFINITY8’s expansion underscores the sector’s growing role in reshaping Malaysia’s corporate landscape.
