IJM Corporation Berhad has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, IJM Construction Sdn Bhd, has been awarded a significant contract worth RM1.4 billion for the construction of a new data center in Johor.
The project, located in Mukim Pulai, Johor Bahru, involves the construction of a six-storey data center building with an integrated office block, two guardhouses, and a waste management facility with a recycling area. This award positions IJM as a key player in the rapidly expanding data center market in the region.
The company stated that the project is targeted for completion within 13 months, with a scheduled completion date in September 2026.
