LBS Foundation has contributed RM20,000 to Sekolah Kebangsaan Bandar Sri Damansara 1 (SKBSD 1) for the construction of a new covered walkway aimed at improving student safety within the school compound.
The initiative follows concerns over the condition of the previous structure and is expected to provide pupils with a safer and more convenient passage between classrooms and facilities, particularly during rainy weather or busy school hours.

The new walkway was officially launched on October 3 at SKBSD 1 by LBS Foundation Government Liaison, Mohamad Najib Saad, alongside school leaders, teachers and parents.
“At LBS Foundation, we believe every child deserves to learn in a safe and nurturing environment. This new walkway may seem like a small addition, but it plays a big role in protecting our students and giving parents peace of mind,” said General Manager Shany Lim.
Echoing the sentiment, Board of Trustee Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Ir. Lim Hock San said, “Education is the foundation of a progressive society. By investing in safe and supportive learning environments, we are investing in our children’s future.”
The initiative aligns with LBS Foundation’s ongoing efforts in education, health, environment and community development, which include financial contributions and infrastructure support for schools and local organisations.
