RapidKL has announced an extended train operation schedule and increased frequency across its rail networks in conjunction with the 47th ASEAN Summit, which will take place on October 27 and 28 2025 in Kuala Lumpur.
According to Prasarana Malaysia Bhd, the adjustments are aimed at ensuring smooth travel for summit delegates, city commuters and visitors during the event period.
Train operations during peak hours will be extended from 6.30 am to 10 am and from 4.30 pm to 8 pm, covering all RapidKL lines including Kelana Jaya, Ampang/Sri Petaling, Monorail, Kajang and Putrajaya.
Frequency during peak hours will range from three to seven minutes depending on the line, while off-peak intervals will run between five and ten minutes.
Prasarana encouraged passengers to plan their journeys ahead and to use the PULSE app for live service updates and travel alerts.
