Malaysian Firms Scoop Top Honours At Emerging Enterprise Awards 2025

Two Malaysian companies, Dodo Ventures Sdn Bhd and Green Environmental Engineering Sdn Bhd, emerged as standout winners at the Emerging Enterprise Awards 2025 in Singapore, underscoring Malaysia’s rising influence in the region’s innovation and growth landscape.

They were among seven companies from Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong to clinch top accolades at the annual awards, jointly organised by The Business Times and OCBC Group.

Dodo Ventures took home the Emerging Enterprise Award, recognising young, high-growth businesses with the drive, scalability and overseas expansion potential to become regional champions.

Green Environmental Engineering, meanwhile, won the Emerging Enterprise Sustainability Award, honouring enterprises tapping into the fast-growing green economy.

Both winners will receive a two-year interest-free term loan of up to S$200,000, regional media exposure through The Business Times and a business consulting package from RSM Singapore worth S$15,000.

Celebrating the achievements, OCBC Bank (Malaysia) CEO Tan Chor Sen praised the winners’ resilience and ambition.

“These young companies have gone the distance. Their entrepreneurial spirit and grit to strive for greater heights are truly remarkable,” Tan said.

Now in its 18th year, the Emerging Enterprise Awards attracted nearly 600 applications from across Asia, with 30 companies selected as finalists. Seven Malaysian firms made the shortlist, including Cobbler Sdn Bhd, Tommac Sdn Bhd, Alps Global Holding Bhd, Future Food Sdn Bhd and Good Foodie Media Sdn Bhd.
