Malaysia’s logistics industry is moving away from speed as the sole differentiator, with reliability and integrated solutions emerging as key priorities as the sector heads into 2026, according to Ninja Van Malaysia.
The shift comes as Malaysia’s logistics and transport sector continues to expand, currently valued at about RM117.36 billion and projected to reach around RM153.78 billion by 2030.
Growth is being driven by a maturing e-commerce market, the rise of mid-sized shippers and businesses expanding beyond online marketplaces into their own sales channels.
This has increased demand for predictable delivery, lower parcel damage rates and consistent service levels across both business-to-consumer and business-to-business logistics.
Against this backdrop, Ninja Van Malaysia has expanded beyond traditional last-mile delivery into cold chain services, freight solutions and B2B restocking.
In 2025, the company reached more than 20 million parcel recipients nationwide through its last-mile network.
Its cold chain service, Ninja Cold, onboarded over 1,000 businesses in its first year and currently handles about 100,000 cold parcels a month across Peninsular Malaysia.
The company also reported strong growth in B2B logistics, with its Ninja B2B Restock service doubling year-on-year growth and supporting faster replenishment cycles for more than 250 businesses.
Less-than-truckload services delivered up to 3,000 pallets, mainly serving B2B shippers.
Lin Zheng, Chief Executive Officer of Ninja Van Malaysia, said, “As Malaysia’s logistics ecosystem matures, speed alone is no longer enough. Businesses are looking for integrated and reliable logistics partners that can connect B2C and B2B flows seamlessly while providing reliable, predictable service.”
Looking ahead to 2026, the company plans to build on capabilities that have gained market traction.
Last-mile delivery will remain central, supported by further investments in network density and route optimisation.
Cold chain services are expected to expand as demand grows for the reliable delivery of fresh, frozen and ready-to-eat products.
In the B2B segment, Ninja Van Malaysia plans to introduce direct intercity less-than-truckload routes and full-truckload services in the second half of 2026.
Its restocking services are also set to extend further into industrial and manufacturing sectors, reflecting a broader industry shift towards integrated and reliability-driven logistics solutions.
