Taghill Subsidiary Faces Winding Up Petition Over Debt

Taghill Holdings Berhad announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, SIAB (M) Sdn Bhd, has been served with a winding-up petition over an alleged outstanding debt of RM81,632.18.

The Petition was filed by KK Scaffolding Sale & Rental Sdn. Bhd. in the High Court of Malaya at Kuala Lumpur on 20 January 2026 and served on SMSB on 23 January 2026. The claim relates to unpaid scaffolding rental and related services.In its filing with Bursa Malaysia, Taghill’s Board of Directors emphasized that the claim amount is not material to the Group. Furthermore, they confirmed that SMSB is not considered a major subsidiary, although the total cost of investment in SMSB stands at RM60.73 million.T

he Board is of the view that the Petition will not have any material adverse impact on the financial position or operations of the Group. Aside from legal costs and expenses, the Company does not anticipate incurring any further losses from the Petition.
