After 14 Years, Wondermama 1 Utama Prepares For Its Final Service

After more than a decade of serving Malaysian comfort food with a modern twist, Wondermama’s outlet at 1 Utama Shopping Centre is closing its doors for good. The popular eatery will welcome its last customers on March 31, 2026, marking the end of an era for fans of its signature dishes.

Since its first opening in 2012, Wondermama quickly became a favourite for its stylish interiors and inventive takes on local dishes, including laksa, kerabu salad, and fried chicken. The brand grew steadily, expanding across the Klang Valley with outlets in malls such as Bangsar Village and Avenue K.

In a heartfelt online announcement, the Wondermama team described the closure as “a very beautiful journey” that has now come to an end. They expressed gratitude to patrons for “every meal shared, every celebration, and every moment spent” at the outlet over the years.

However, fans of favourites like nasi lemak and ayam percik don’t have to say goodbye completely. Wondermama The Toffee will continue serving the brand’s signature dishes.

While the 1 Utama location closes, Wondermama’s influence on Malaysian comfort food lives on at its remaining locations.
