The Countdown Is On For SEA’s YouTube Works Awards

Submissions are open for the 2026 YouTube Works Awards Southeast Asia, with Google and Deloitte once again spotlighting campaigns that prove YouTube can drive real business results. Launched in Kuala Lumpur, the awards focus on work that delivers impact, not just views, reflecting how video continues to shape the region’s digital economy.

The format stays familiar but tight. Categories range from The Big Bang for launches to Multiformat Storytelling across Shorts, long-form and Connected TV, plus Brands & Creators for standout collaborations.

Strategic execution is recognised through the Masters of Media, while Best of Festive and Best of Market focus on cultural moments and local impact. Agency of the Year and the Grand Prix round things off, rewarding consistent performance and overall excellence.

This year, Singapore and Malaysia are competing as one combined market, bringing together two of the region’s strongest creative industries. The move follows a strong 2025 showing from Grab Singapore and Astro Malaysia, and sets the stage for more competitive, region-leading work.

A new category, Best Use of AI for Creative, reflects where things are heading. It focuses on how generative AI is being used in practical, creative ways—from personalised content to new audience interactions. The emphasis is on execution, with judging centred on how well human thinking and AI tools work together.

Entries are open to campaigns that ran between March 1, 2025 and April 30, 2026, with submissions closing on April 30, 2026. Winners will be decided by a panel of regional industry leaders, with Deloitte overseeing the process.
