Four Ways To Spend Mother’s Day Unveils At The St. Regis KL

Mother’s Day is getting a full-scale treatment at The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur this year, with a line-up that includes dining, afternoon tea and spa experiences throughout May 2026.

The hotel’s “In Celebration of Her, Across the House of Astor” programme features different ways to spend time with family rather than a single set menu moment, giving guests different ways to mark the occasion depending on how they want to celebrate.

Across The Brasserie, The Drawing Room, Crystal and Iridium Spa, the focus stays the same: shared time, good food and experiences that feel considered without being overly formal. It’s less about spectacle and more about giving families space to slow down together.

Sunday Brunch at The Brasserie

The main daytime gathering happens at The Brasserie, where Sunday brunch features a mix of food, interaction and family-friendly activities. Expect live stations with premium roasts carved tableside, seafood selections and a dessert spread created for the occasion.

It’s not just a standard buffet setup. There are interactive elements woven in, including a Hot Chocolate Stamp Masterclass and a Dry Flower Potpourri Atelier. Children are also included in the experience, with hotel butlers helping them write “Letters to Mommy” to take home. A Polaroid photo is also part of the package for physical keepsakes of the event.

The brunch runs on May 10, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm at Level 2. Pricing is RM 343 nett per adult, RM 172 nett per child aged 6 to 12, and free for children under six with a paying adult.

Afternoon Tea at The Drawing Room

Later in the day, The Drawing Room shifts the pace with a Mother’s Day version of its afternoon tea service. The concept takes cues from classic social gatherings, with a menu built around teas, savoury bites and pastries with a floral, seasonal direction.

Alongside the tiered service, there are a few standout items made specifically for the occasion, including a Raspberry Travel Cake layered with pound cake, confit and white chocolate ganache, and a limited Strawberry Shortcake available in small quantities at the vitrine.

It runs on Sunday, May 10, 2026, from 12 pm to 6 pm at the lobby level. Pricing is RM 208 nett per adult and RM 108 nett per child.

Poolside Dinner at Crystal

For those staying into the evening, Crystal offers a more laid-back dinner by the pool. The four-course barbecue menu focuses on grilled meats and seafood, supported by starters and desserts that keep things light but structured.

Guests can choose to add an alcohol package, and families with children can also opt for Kids Club access before dinner. The dinner takes place on May 10, 2026, from 6 pm to 10 pm at Level 6. Pricing is RM 230 nett per adult and RM 115 nett per child, with optional add-ons available.

Relaxation at Iridium Spa

For those looking to step away from dining, Iridium Spa offers a wellness-focused alternative that runs beyond Mother’s Day itself, available until May 31, 2026.

The experience starts with a herbal sauna, followed by a 70-minute aromatherapy massage and ends with a hydrating facial. The sequence is designed to be straightforward and restorative, focusing on relaxation and skin recovery in one sitting. Sessions run daily from 10 am to 10 pm at Level 6, priced at RM 680 nett per person.

Across all four venues, the approach is consistent: flexible ways to spend time together rather than a single fixed celebration.
