NCT Alliance Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary, NCT World Sdn Bhd, has signed a term sheet for the proposed sale of a 100-acre land parcel within NCT Smart Industrial Park (NSIP), earmarked for data centre development.
NCT Alliance said the land parcel has been identified by a global data centre operator as a potential development site, underscoring Malaysia’s rising appeal as a regional digital infrastructure hub amid surging demand driven by artificial intelligence adoption and shifting global supply chains.
“The proposed project is expected to support up to 800MW of data centre capacity, subject to regulatory approvals and the execution of definitive agreements.
“Upon completion, the land sale is expected to contribute positively to the group’s revenue and earnings, while strengthening its foothold in the high-growth digital infrastructure segment,” it added.
NCT Alliance said the entry of a global data centre operator further strengthens NSIP’s profile and is expected to accelerate investment momentum across the development, reinforcing its positioning as a future-ready industrial and digital hub.
