The Disney x Formula 1® “Velocity Collection” has just dropped, arriving on 15 May as the latest release in the ongoing “Fuel the Magic” campaign. It’s a collaboration that continues to blur the line between motorsport and pop culture, turning the energy of Grand Prix racing into a street-ready lifestyle collection built for everyday wear.
At its core, the Velocity Collection is about bringing F1® aesthetics off the track. The range includes apparel, accessories and collectable plush toys, all designed with a bold colour palette that pulls directly from the intensity of race weekends. Think saturated tones, sharp graphics and sporty details that feel more like lifestyle fashion than traditional team merch.
What stands out here is the shift in approach. Rather than leaning on standard racing branding, the collection pushes into wearable streetwear territory. Graphic tees, hoodies and outerwear are designed to slot into a regular wardrobe, not just a fan zone. The idea is simple: pieces that reference Formula 1® without feeling overdone, making them easy to wear beyond race day.
There’s also a stronger character-led angle than you might expect from a motorsport collaboration. Alongside clothing and accessories, Disney has added exclusive plush toys tied to the collection, giving it a crossover appeal that reaches both F1® fans and Disney collectors. It’s a softer, more playful layer in an otherwise high-energy release.
The rollout is already live across Disney Store platforms and selected flagship locations, with further international availability expected, including Disney Store Europe and Disneyland Paris in the coming months. It forms part of a wider release schedule under the Disney x Formula 1® partnership, which is continuing to expand throughout the season.
That broader schedule includes a Disney x F1 ACADEMY collection launching on 21 May, featuring Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck-inspired racing designs aimed at a more fashion-forward, character-driven audience.
A core Disney x Formula 1® line is also being updated, including varsity-style pieces that lean into motorsport heritage in a more classic way. Additional themed drops, such as a Montréal-inspired capsule, are also on the way.
The collaboration is also branching out in unexpected directions. A new pet line introduces F1®-themed accessories like leashes and harnesses, extending the brand into lifestyle categories you don’t usually see in motorsport merchandising.
At the same time, UNIQLO is adding its own Disney x Formula 1® UT collection in Canada, bringing racing-inspired Disney graphics into a more accessible retail format.
Beyond clothing, the partnership is building out a wider content universe. A Disney and WEBTOON series tied to the “Fuel the Magic” campaign continues through the 2026 Formula 1® season, with new episodes timed to race weekends. It’s part of a growing push to connect fashion, storytelling and sport in a way that follows fans throughout the calendar, not just the race track.
