Mahsuri Food Sdn Bhd has officially launched its new 45,000 sq m production facility in Bandar Enstek, Negeri Sembilan, as the halal sauces and condiments maker accelerates expansion plans and strengthens export capabilities.
Spanning approximately 45,000 sq m and equipped with state-of-the-art production lines and advanced processing capabilities, the new production facility is designed as a modern manufacturing hub dedicated to producing Mahsuri sauces, including soy sauce and oyster sauce.
According to Mahsuri Non-Executive Director Datuk Mohd Roslan Mahyuddin, the plant supports fully automated manufacturing processes and consistent product quality from preparation to bottling and packing under stringent quality controls.
“The stringent quality controls in place reinforce the company’s commitment to ensuring every product it produces continues to earn and maintain consumer trust,” Mohd Roslan said.
He further added that among the plant’s other key highlights is the introduction of a Rotary Koji Making Machine for soy sauce production, enabling more precise control of temperature, humidity and ventilation during the fermentation process.
“The facility has also secured halal certification from the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM), strengthening consumer confidence in the company’s halal manufacturing standards.
“Beyond production, the facility is expected to create employment opportunities in areas such as quality assurance, research and development, production operations and technical support,” Mohd Roslan said, while revealing that the company plans to use the facility as a base to expand exports of premium halal sauce products to markets including Southeast Asia, the Middle East and India.
Meanwhile, Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun, who officiated the facility with other honourable guests, said the new facility not only supports the domestic market, but will also robustly strengthen export capabilities, positioning the state as a key hub within the global halal supply chain
Echoing the sentiment, Malaysian Investment Development Authority Chief Executive Officer Datuk Sikh Shamsul Ibrahim Sikh Abdul Majid said the new facility aligns with the New Industrial Master Plan 2030 of strengthening local industries, accelerating domestic investment and boosting Malaysia’s industrial competitiveness.
