The Roman Empire is now expanding in Malaysia, the pizza kind, that is.
Little Caesars, the world’s third-largest pizza chain, has officially landed in Malaysia with its first outlet now open in Damansara Utama, Petaling Jaya. Originally from downtown Detroit, Michigan, the chain is known globally for its affordable pizzas, their signature Crazy Bread, and quick grab-and-go meals. Founded by Mike and Marian Illitch in 1959 as a single family-owned restaurant, Little Caesars has since grown into the largest family-owned pizza company in the world, with restaurants in each of the 50 US State, and 31 countries and territories. The expansion into Malaysia is led by known franchisees Dato’ Vincent Choo and Datin Cynthia Cheong.

The restaurant officially opened its doors yesterday on the 24th of May, and now Malaysians can finally try the famous HOT-N-READY pizzas, such as their Classic Pepperoni Pizza, that have graced American shows and our social media feeds. It seems the crowd agrees. At yesterday’s opening, the outlet had its pizzas sell out due to overwhelming demand.
Aside from their classic flavours, Little Caesars is introducing classic Malaysian pizza toppings such as Chicken Hawaiian and 3 Cheese Edge to Edge, great for those who love the cheese meleleh. Vegetarians get to join in on the fun with a Classic Veggie Pizza.
According to Little Caesars, more outlets are already planned in the coming weeks, with one opening in Bandar Puteri Puchong this coming July. The location and opening hours are listed below:
