Encorp Secures Felda Housing Development Deal

Encorp Bhd is set to undertake a major staff housing development for the Federal Land Development Authority (Felda) following the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to deliver the project under a design-and-build model.

The collaboration will see Encorp act as the main contractor for the design and construction of Felda staff housing, subject to the finalisation of definitive agreements and regulatory approvals.

The initiative is aimed at improving living standards for FELDA employees through purpose-built residential units designed to enhance comfort, functionality and overall wellbeing.

Encorp Group Chief Executive Officer Ahmad Harzimi Mohd Taib said the company is committed to delivering modern and well-planned housing solutions for the Felda workforce, underscoring the group’s construction capabilities and long-term partnership with the authority.

The latest project builds on Encorp’s established track record in Felda-related developments. Through its subsidiary Encorp Development Sdn Bhd, the group previously completed Phase 1 of Lamanda Chuping in 2024, comprising 224 low- and medium-cost residential units and 17 commercial units for Felda settlers and their next generation.

The Felda staff housing initiative further expand Encorp’s footprint in public-sector-driven construction projects.
